Welcome to the Parenting Tips for Dads blog. Here we will share experiences and tips on parenting for fathers. This comes out of my own experiences as a new dad and hope you too, the readers, will share your own experiences as well. I have discovered, like many dads I suppose, that no matter how much preparations you make, you will still be caught unawares by one or two things. You can never be fully prepared for fatherhood. We this in mind we therefore need to share experiences and notes on best practices for fatherhood.
Gone are days when childcare was a mother's job. Nowadays we all take part in changing nappies, bathing, feeding etc. To say the truth, doing these duties is the most rewarding job you will ever get. No money can buy the bond that you establish with your little one.
As one Christian writer has pointed out, "The children look to their father for support and guidance; he needs to have a right conception of life and of the influences and associations that should surround his family; above all, he should be controlled by the love and fear of God and by the teaching of His word, that he may guide the feet of his children in the right way."
